HOUSE ON THE FOOTHILL - TOWN HOUSE IN THE HISTORICAL CENTRE

Potential sites lies not only in its location but also the dominant position it holds to their surroundings. Undeveloped plot represents a "node" or "island" ... loosening strictly linear character Bakery. It is a place which brings together three disparate streams - Classical serious at the running part of Mendel Square, dramatically quarreling upper section flowing into the area from Hus class and insignificant Anenská that, if there "just got lost." All "three" street, however, are closely connected with the plot and the transformation of space clearly indicates their transformation. A distinctive feature of the property is its visual exposure of looking from Mendel Square, the plot creates a "picture" to which the pawn closer. This image should be interesting, changing to attract one's attention for more than just one or two seconds. The image should not least communicate - what is happening on the ground, what links are individual objects ... a landmark and should, for use by infantrymen use. It should also not be attractive from a distance - when one zooms in close proximity, should be surprised by the discovery of something new, something that was not noticeable from a distance, it should be attention to detail, or idea that can be seen only at close contact.

Proposal of Communication System in Company

Master´s thesis analyses modern methods of communication in company management. The objective is to discover out the crucial defects of this issue and to outline possible solutions which would improve the weaknesses – of internal communication. The master´s thesis consists of three parts: The theoretical part is concerned about communicational instruments which have been used by the operational company ČEPRO, a.s. The analytical part describes implementation of communicational instruments in the company. (external communication, internal communication, crisis communication and communication during the new product implementation) The proposal part recommends appropriate elements for efficient communication within the current communication system in the company.

Childbirth as a natural part of life, where the woman giving birth has prime position and the option of choice. She should feel free and accepted - to be able to give birth physiologically (without unnecessary external interference). Physiological childbirth as the best for a woman, a baby and their relationship. Up to 80 % of women do not need a doctor to give birth, but only a "suitable environment". In my diploma thesis I propose a "maternity house". This concept is well-known abroad, in our country it is a new type of care. For this purpose, I use two existing houses, which are owned by the city of Blansko and stand next to the hospital.

Less is more!The mass is direct, racional and strong.Its expression is robust in the foundation.The racional solution of disposition builds strong and safe base for full student life, which is represented in a spacious atrium where the nature of studies is fulfilled at the University - meeting young people with a desire to obtain information and a possibilities to make social contacts.

The object of metropolitan significance on the street Benesova Brno

With regard to the surrounding buildings there is designed a seven-floor terraced metropolitan object, within one floor is in the underground. A new metropolitan centre with conference halls, also possible to use for lectures, city balls or social evenings. Within the obejct, there is turistical information centre with permanent exposition of Brno, Moravia, too. There is also a gallery, snack bar, café, outlook from the highest floor and complementary areas. A big park connects to the building.

The Students themselves - Student Center Poříčí

The project addresses the design of student housing for two hundred students, design the canteen with the issuance of 800 lunches per day. The proposal must also provide adequate capacity for underground parking spaces. The building is situated on the corner plot between the streets of Vídeňská and Táborského nábřeží. It is designed as a tri-wing design with an internal atrium, open towards the waterfront. Atrium is meant as the main venue for meeting and communicating accommodated students. The building has two floors underground and seven above-ground floors.

Consultation management system is for people, who want to reserve different dates at a doctor, consultant or manager, but also for the people, who want to offer consultation or office hours. The aim was the connection of functionality with simplicity and efficiency at the same time, which responds to user needs. In this work we can find the main things of request specification, system design and actual implementation.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on comparing of the procedures of the management of apartment buildings in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. It describes the differences between the administrator and the community of owners of residential and non-residential premises and the different administration procedures in these two countries. In the last part of the work, there is a comparison of a specific apartment building in its original state and after complete modernization of the interior and exterior of this apartment building.

Religion in the United Nations Security Council

This thesis deals with the occurrence of terms with religious significance in the meeting records of the United Nations Security Council. Religion manifests itself in the private and public spheres, in which it also intervenes in political and international affairs. As it is also present in various forms in the United Nations, the thesis aims to find out whether religion is also manifest in the Security Council and, if so, in what forms and contexts. It also tries to find an answer to the question if there was a temporary increase in the number of mentions of religion after 2001. In addition to the literature, the thesis is based on the analysis of Security Council meetings, that took place in the period 1996- 2006. A dataset was created consisting of ¼ of the meetings for the given period, which means 550 records out of a total of 1 998. Through the analysis of these documents, the thesis focuses not only on the number of religious expressions and their form, but also on the possible causes that may affect their presence. Primarily, it is the thematic focus of the UNSC meeting, which is treated as the main factor in the occurrence of references to religion. Therefore, the thesis tries to find out whether they really represent a fundamental role and in which topics religious aspects occur most...
